Anodized Aluminum Components for a Precision Instrument Brand
Case 2022-06-14
The Challenge A precision instrument brand required aluminum components with a flawless black anodized finish: precise machined edges, clean threads, and a uniform matte surface that would match their product’s premium look. Achieving consistent anodizing quality across batches is challenging, and poor surface preparation had caused rejected parts with their previous supplier.
Our Solution We combined precision CNC machining with in-house anodizing coordination, controlling the entire process from raw material to finished surface. Parts were machined to spec, carefully prepared before anodizing to avoid surface defects, and inspected part by part for finish consistency and dimensional accuracy before packing.
The Result The customer received components with a uniform, high-quality anodized finish that matched their brand standard, with no rejected batches. Having machining and finishing handled as one order simplified their sourcing, and the consistent quality allowed them to ship their instruments without additional incoming inspection.
