The Equipment Story: How Benxin Built a 30+ Machining Center Machine Hall

News 2026-07-03

Every machine in our hall was added for a reason — a customer’s tolerance, a material, a batch size. Here is how Benxin’s lineup grew into 7 five-axis centers, 15 precision machining centers and 41 CNC lathes.

Equipment tells a factory’s history better than any brochure. At Benxin, every machine purchase answered a real production question: how to hold a tighter tolerance, machine a harder material, or deliver a larger batch on schedule.

In the early years, our workshop ran conventional lathes and milling machines. The first CNC lathes were a turning point — suddenly we could hold consistent dimensions across hundreds of identical parts. From there, the lineup grew step by step, always ahead of demand rather than behind it.

Today’s lineup:

  • 5-axis turn-mill / 5-axis simultaneous machining centers: 7 units — complex curved surfaces and one-setup machining; max workpiece ⌀850 × 500 mm
  • Precision CNC machining centers: 15 units — housings, brackets and structural parts in aluminum and stainless steel
  • CNC lathes: 41 units — shafts, pins and threaded parts; max workpiece 2500 × 46 mm
  • Milling machines: 10 units — general milling and secondary operations
  • Grinding machines: 15 units — finishing up to ±0.002 mm
  • Wire EDM (slow / medium / fast): 8 units — precise slots, thin walls and hardened materials, up to ±0.005 mm
  • Swiss-type automatic lathe: 1 unit — micro precision parts
  • Tapping machines: 20 units — high-volume thread operations

Precision tiers we work to every day:

  • General CNC machining: ±0.01 mm
  • Grinding operations: up to ±0.002 mm
  • Slow wire EDM: up to ±0.005 mm

With this fleet, Benxin handles everything from a single prototype to mass production — prototype samples in around 8 days, and consistent quality at scale. If you have a drawing, we have a machine that can make it right.
