Custom Electronic Instrument Enclosure — Metal Chassis Manufacturer

SHENZHEN BENXIN ELECTRONIC HARDWARE CO., LTD

Product Details

Keywords: custom electronic enclosure, instrument chassis, metal enclosure manufacturer, laser controller enclosure, sheet metal box, custom chassis, electronic equipment enclosure

Product Overview

This hot-selling black instrument enclosure is a precision sheet-metal chassis built around a customer’s electronics: a recessed front panel with ten labeled cutouts (SA, MON, VLD, CLK1, CLK2, FBG, RCV1, RCV2, RA, LASER), screw mounting points on every surface and a clean matte black finish. It is typical of the custom metal boxes we engineer for laser drivers, optical instruments, test equipment and control systems.

Key Features

Custom panel layout — square cutouts and labels arranged to your interface design

Rigid folded construction — top cover with tabs, reinforced seams and stable dimensions

Complete mounting provision — screw holes on top and front for PCBs, displays and covers

Matte black finish — low-glare powder coating suited to laboratory and rack environments

EMI-friendly metal body — conductive metal chassis supports shielding and grounding design

Modular design support — side slots, notches and mounting bosses per your mechanical spec

Applications

Used as enclosures for laser controllers, optical instruments, medical electronics, industrial testers, audio equipment and any custom instrument chassis requiring a professional metal enclosure.

Manufacturing & Factory Capability

Built in our sheet metal and finishing factory:

Laser cutting & CNC punching — panels, cutouts and mounting holes to drawing

Precision press braking — sharp, consistent bends for the folded body and cover

Welding & hardware insertion — studs, standoffs and PEM fasteners installed in-house

Powder coating & silkscreen — matte black coating plus front-panel labeling per your artwork

Assembly support — we can assemble PCBs and wiring into the chassis if required

Customization & OEM/ODM

We engineer the chassis around your PCB and front panel: share your layout drawings or 3D model and receive a custom design proposal, sample and volume quote. Panel labels, colors and packaging are fully customizable.

Quality Assurance

Panel cutout positions, bend accuracy and coating are inspected per batch; first-article samples are checked against your drawings.

Frequently Asked Questions

Yes. We provide OEM/ODM custom manufacturing from your drawings in PDF, DWG, STEP, IGES or STL formats.

  1. What materials can you machine?
Aluminum, stainless steel (304/316), titanium alloy, copper, brass, POM, PEEK and other engineering plastics.
  2. What is your tolerance standard?
General tolerance ±0.05mm, tight tolerance down to ±0.005mm upon request.
  3. Can you provide material certificates & inspection reports?
Yes, 3.1 material cert, FAI, CMM inspection report are available.
  4. What is your lead time?
Sample: 3–7 working days. Mass production: 7–15 working days, depends on complexity & quantity.
  5. Do you support small batch & prototype orders?
Yes, we welcome prototype, low-volume and custom one-off parts.
  6. What surface finishes can you offer?
Anodizing, sandblasting, passivation, polishing, powder coating, laser marking, deburring.
  7. How do you handle shipping?
We support DHL, FedEx, TNT, sea freight, and can do DDP / DAP terms.
  1. Is there a minimum order quantity (MOQ)?
We have no strict MOQ. We accept prototype trial orders as low as 1 piece.
  2. How can I get an accurate quotation?
Please send us your 3D STEP/IGES file, 2D drawing with tolerance, material requirement, quantity and surface finish.
  3. Can you help with DFM optimization?
Yes. Our engineers provide free DFM suggestions to reduce machining cost and improve manufacturability.
  4. How long is the quotation valid?
Quotation is normally valid for 30 days, subject to raw material price fluctuation.

Pricing depends on material, dimensions, tolerance, quantity and surface finish. Please send your drawings (PDF/DWG/STEP/IGES) and we will provide an exact quote, usually within 24 hours.

The price is based on material cost + machining time + surface treatment + tooling (if any) + packaging and freight.

Our standard quotes are FOB Shenzhen/Dongguan unless otherwise stated. Air or sea freight can be quoted separately according to your destination.

Our price reflects the material grade, tolerance level, full inspection and finishing quality. If needed, we can suggest cost-saving design changes (e.g. relaxing non-critical tolerances) to reduce the cost.

Yes. We provide tiered pricing — the unit price decreases as the quantity increases. Please tell us your target quantity for the best price.
